Late last year, we transitioned to Microsoft Teams as a way to streamline our internal collaboration and processes. With an increasing global client base, 35+ team members, and over 40 ongoing projects at any given time, we needed a way to improve our working capabilities and enhance security. With help from Palmetto Technology Group, we rolled out Office 365 across our organization to empower our Thinkers to achieve more by working efficiently and effectively together.
Not only has Teams enabled us to work smarter, it’s allowed us to seamlessly transition to an all-remote workforce amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As team members balance work with taking care of family, features such as the mobile app and the “record” function for meetings make it possible to step away from the computer and still engage or catch up on meetings at a convenient time.
The best part, though, is Teams keeps our Thinkers connected in meaningful ways while apart. Birthday celebrations, coffee dates, and happy hours still happen with the video feature, and we use a “fun” channel to recognize anniversaries or share funny pictures, anecdotes, and uplifting news. With Teams we’re able to support our clients and each other without missing a beat.
